3rd January 2017, I just booked a ticket on 12 am G+7, and will be having the flight at 11pm, but the price of the ticket flight was not that expensive yea (btw it was Garuda Airlines), you might try this extreme tips just in case *insert laughing but also crying emojis here*
Surprisingly, my visa got accepted at 10.00 am in the morning in the same day. So after arrived at CGK, I directly go to the embassy take my visa, and then went to my relatives' house.
It was my first time going abroad, and alone. At first, I was so confidence that I am that strong, I am just gonna enjoy whatever happens. But turn out when I just sat at my seat, and watching everyone else..I began to cry. Tears suddenly just falls to my face...I dont know but I feel so frightened, 7 hours flight, I know no one..then, I calmed myself by watching Rudy Habibie, well, that doesn't make me any calm, my tears just falling harder. Harder, and hardest. My thoughts was full of negativity. What if I am so far away then something happens with my Dad just like Rudy's Dad? What if in the night the airplane crashed because of the lighnting? (because when the plane is taking off I saw lightning twice, mm...more than twice.) What ifs kills me..and I just cried during the flight, and only slept for 2 hours.
Waking up sad, the flight attendants serve me some foods, I chose nasi uduk and it was the best nasi uduk that I have ever ate! Paling best bukan nasinya sih tapi bawang goreng nya ena benar wakaka.
Then, I start talking to the girl who sat besides me, her name is (I forgot who), and she comes from Kalbe Farma Company to have some holidays with her working friends, but she fly solo cause her friends are in another flights. We chit chat, we exchange our whatsapp number, and we planned to go together to take subway to reach our destination.
I was like, glad, I have a friend.
Then I used my coat and sweater. She didn't use any, turned out that we have to go to the toilet, because she wants to use her long john, and set it with her coat.
We walked out to the train, wait together in line for passport stamp, and looked for our luggage together. After that, he guided me to go to the nearest convenience store inside the airport to buy our Tmoney card. After that, I just followed her to go to the A-Rex Station, but then she got to the wrong way. Then, I pleasantly asked her to follow my route. And then we got to the subway station.
I was looking for charging spot, but I can't find one. I didn't have any powerbanks, my laptop's baterry was dead.
I haven't told my parents that I was arrived safely, I haven't told my friends that I was arrived, although they can't seemed to pick me up, because it was really far, I'll try to find a way instead. I didn't know the address of the hostel, all I know it was located in the Eul Jiro 4 Ga Station.
And yeah... I just sholawat everytime I passed the corridor of the subway. And everytime..until I reached my destination..
We got to into the train, before that, she offered me to charge my phone at her laptop, I was glad, again. And then, I didn't have any internet connection, the wifi in the station only work outside the train. So I texted my mother that I have arrived safely. I wanted to texted my friends, but my credit wasn't enough..
Then I just read the Subway's Map, I have to went through 8 stations, transfer to the brown line, take another train and went through 2 stations, and there Eul Jiro 4 Ga Station!
It was the direction after I realized when I've done it. When finding the way in the station, I was so confused which way to use, I brought my luggage upstairs downstairs until the wheels is broke. *insert laughing crying emoji here*
I used the elevator for the disabled and oldster, it got me wonder while using the elevator is that the demography of Koreans are dominated with elderly people? ...
Well, the thinking hang in there until I realized that the elevator was only designed for them, I thought I was being stared by a grandma grandma because I wore hijab, and now I know why *insert laughing crying emojis here*
With only reading the map, and the direction in the station....and also by reciting Sholawat everytime I didn't get lost during the trip! Yay, I can survived without google maps! Praised Allah...the all knowing of all. <3 p="">
(btw if you're doing this also, don't forget to memorize the phone number of Indonesian Embassy, just in case!) I memorized it just in case wkwk.
Arriving at Eul Jiro 4 Ga Station, I find a way out, and remember the famous BBQ Restaurant near the hostel it was "wuleok" I prounced it in a style of copying how Koreans speak *insert laughing crying emojis here* then I took my pen and my paper, and the netizen (wkwk masa netizen) and the netizen draw me a place, they're a couple, and they're so nice so welcome, we chit chat with Bahasya Isyarat wkwkwk tangan nya menkol2 gitu kan nunjukin jalan wakaka.
BUT THEN....because of using bahasa isyarat when I just got out from the station, there are so many block to give turned into, I asked the street hawkers where is the wuleok restaurant, and then she shook her head. Well, I just again, just reciting sholawat, and I thought, I should find a nearest coffee shop, so that I can charge and use wifi and asked my friend to picked me up there.
But...when I walked with my luggage and my tentengan, and backpack. When I looked to the left, THERE IT IS...the famous BBQ restaurant! Glad! I am sooo glad! Whenever I recite sholawat, it is Allah taking me there :")
Then, I go forward like some couples of footwalking, turned to left, and there was the Hostel! I am arriveddddd!
Love, love.
